Home Privacy

Privacy, in plain language.

What happens to the information you share with ALT Events through this website.

01

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, contact details, event date, venue or town, guest estimate and whatever you tell us about the event. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build marketing profiles.

02

What we use it for

One thing: answering your enquiry and preparing your quotation. If you become a client, the same information is used to plan and deliver your event. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their marketing.

03

How it is handled

Enquiries go directly to the senior production team. Access is limited to the people planning your event. Records of completed enquiries are kept only as long as the business relationship and ordinary accounting require.

04

Cookies & analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies. If privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics are added at launch — to understand which pages help visitors — this note will say so explicitly, here, before it happens.

05

Your rights (POPIA)

Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One message to the privacy contact below is enough — no forms, no runaround.

06

Privacy contact

The dedicated privacy contact publishes with the live site at launch. Until then, send any privacy question through the enquiry form marked “privacy”, and a senior team member will handle it.

07

Changes

If this note changes, the change is published here with the date. Material changes are also flagged on the enquiry form for a period.
